Angel Aculey is a celebrity makeup artist, working in the industry for over 6 successful years.  After 15 years as a successful event manager, Angel decided it was time to act on her longstanding love of beauty and fashion and pursue a career as a makeup artist. A self-confessed ‘beauty junkie’ she turned her much loved passion into a full time career in 2012.

Self-taught and ready to learn, Angel began working for MAC Cosmetics in London and in three years worked her way up to become a sought after pro artist in their flagship store. This role provided the opportunity to perfect her craft and gain invaluable experience on all skin types.

With hundreds of ‘faces’, requests and happy customers under her belt, Angel chose to combine all her learned skills and natural talents, and made the move to become a freelance makeup artist.

In the time since becoming freelance, Angel has been busy directing editorial shoots, organising beauty masterclasses, keeping clients looking and feeling fabulous and closely assisting top makeup artists including Pat McGrath, Sam Fines and Lan Nguyen-Grealis.  Angel continues to work regularly within the fashion, music and beauty industries.
